BioI'm a Christian, homeschooled since fourth grade, the eldest of four, and blind from birth (hence my seemingly random interest in assistive technology :)). I love to read, write, play the piano, harmonica, Irish pennywhistle or anything else I can get music out of, sing, talk (and listen :)) to friends, knit, sculpt, and cook. I write: original fantasy, LOTR fanfiction, songs (lots of folk songs, lullabies, and hymns and something more contemporary now and then), poetry, and the occasional essay. All my fanfiction is posted at http://www.storiesofarda.com under Queen Galadriel. I might have an Elven name, but I'm a Hobbit at heart! :) This journal will be mostly a place for fanfic and random stuff...at least, that's my intent, but who knows? :)
